| When the wick in our candles has been burned completely, it will simply fall over into the wax pool. This means that it is now time to burn votive candles in the hole that remains. Any votive candle, including scented and colored votive candles will perform well when inserted into one of our candles. As the votive candle burns down, most of the candle will be consumed, but some of the wax will remain at the bottom. When you see the metal tab of the votive candle exposed, this indicates it is time to blow out the votive candle and replace it with another. We recommend that you extinguish the flame and then wait several minutes until the wax at the bottom of the hole is solid, yet still warm. Using a spoon or other utensil, scoop out this soft wax and any wick debris and discard. Simply replace with another votive candle and continue to enjoy our candles. |
